Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France – Franck – Hahn

Hilary Hahn grew up a child prodigy and is a world-class violinist today, enchanting audiences with her faultless technique and ravishing tone. At the Kulturpalast, the charismatic American musician will perform Jean Sibelius’ Violin Concerto, which was declared »unplayable« shortly after its world premiere. Today, the composition with its dark timbre, folkloristic verve and impressive challenges for the virtuoso soloist is acknowledged as one of the most important violin works of the 20th century.
