St. Pauls Carnival
St Pauls Carnival is an iconic Bristol event that represents the best of African Caribbean culture, as well as the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of its home city, Bristol. This year we are getting together to celebrate its 51st anniversary with music, dancing, yummy food and plenty of good vibes! Wander down the streets of St Pauls to discover new tastes, sounds, dances and friends in an event that brings communities together through a celebration of unity! This carnival is put on by the community, for the community and everyone who wants to celebrate with it!
Due to the predicted hot weather, I've picked up a place in the shade as the meeting point Protected content
IMPORTANT: there will be 2 meeting times (same address) - once at 13:00 and later at 15:00. THERE IS NO SIGNAL (you won't be able to call, take calls, send messages, access internet etc,), because of the large crowds of people, so there is little chance to contact us during the procession. If you are late, then you still have a chance to find us at 15:00, in the same spot (therefore the two times of meeting). If you want to let us know you will be late, send a message to my phone directly before 12:30. Afterwards, I will be getting closer to the carnival meeting point and my reception will probably be bad.
