"ON HOLD" Pharaoh, Osiris and the Mummy
♣ Pharaoh, Osiris and the mummy ♣
This exhibition will be a big highlight in Aix-en-Provence in Protected content attract a huge stream of visitors. The high culture of Ancient Egypt is unique. Anyone who has already visited an exhibition about ancient Egypt or the ancient sites in Egypt can confirm the fascination that comes from all this. And I'm looking forward to going there together.
The exhibiton shows no less than Protected content belonging to the city and enriched by an exceptional loan from the Louvre Museum, as part of its relations with provincial museums.
Private collectors and prestigious museums such as Glasgow, Copenhagen, and Turin should also lend objects to the Museum for this exhibition.
It is planned that one of the halls will be dedicated to the reconstruction of part of the tomb of Pharaoh Merentpah, son and successor of Ramses II, from large photographs made on site by the archaeologists of the Louvre. Another part of the exhibition will be dedicated to the personalities of Aix who collected Egyptian objects before bequeathing them to the city. Finally, a third part will be dedicated to the god Osiris.
Before we dive into the realm of the dead, we meet for brunch in the Protected content
