Wine Tasting in Manyunk
Join us on Thursday, March 23rd at 6pm for a wine tasting at Protected content in Manyunk. Karamoor Estate Vineyard ( Protected content ), a local award-winning winery, is offering a five glass flight for $15 that evening. Together, let’s taste and discuss how well our local Pennsylvanian wines have evolved! One of my sommelier friends will join us to sample and critique each of the wines. And if we really enjoy the wines from this particular winery, we can plan a trip to the actual winery only thirty minutes away in Blue Bell, later this spring.
The event starts at exactly 6pm so you must be there on time. Parking is plentiful, or just take the SEPTA regional train (Manyunk/Norisstown line) from Center City to Manyunk Station, only 2 minutes away from the wine bar. During the tasting, we will be able to order food from the restaurant’s excellent menu. After the tasting, we can sample other wines from their well-curated and affordable wine list including a Txakolina (Spain) and Italian Dolcetto Monferrato (Italy) on tap in addition to several ½ carafes.
