UPDATE (for those of you who have not booked a ticket yet):
It seems that tickets could only be bought via the website up to 7 days in advance.
However, there is still a lot of space available (spoke to the organisers), so you can just come to the meeting point on Sunday and get your ticket there.

„Berlin was built out of a boat“ – this is true especially for the Berlin large-scale industry, which expanded along the Spree since the end of the 19th century.

During this trip upstream we can track the historical development of the industrial city Berlin, while at the same time enjoying the varied mixture of green riverbanks as well as architectural testaments of the foundation years. Experience the fascinating upswing of East Berlin and enjoy the vast view of Berlin’s largest lake.

There is an option to step off the boat in Schöneweide and take a guided tour through the historic industrial area there. We will get to know the authentic places of the legendary Berlin electrical industry, visit the historic AEG canteen, marvel at the dimensions of the cable factories, discover the industrial site of the former factory for television electronics. Before continuing the boat trip, we can climb the tower in the Peter-Behrens-Bau and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Berlin and the surrounding area.
The tour will be in German and there would be an additional cost of 10 Euro. We can decide on it once we start the boat tour.

Please select ‘Normalpreis Komplette Tour‘.

Or you can contact me for pre-payment details and I can buy the ticket for you.

Please note that the return time just indicates the last boat scheduled. There are earlier boats too, so we can also make it a shorter day.
