Secrets of the Universe by a 2015 Nobel Prize (In English)
Hello and welcome to our first activity in ENGLISH !! Simultaneous translation available.
[PLEASE register with the Foundation´s website for priority entrance and to secure a seat.]
The Physics NOBEL PRIZE winner Takaaki Kajita from the University of Tokyo and the Institute of Cosmic Ray Research will take us through how scientists are learning the secrets of the Universe through the study of neutrinos, gravitational waves, and gamma rays.
The conference room is very large, if you arrive at the conference room before the talk begins look for fellow IN members who will try to reserve one seat next to them for late arrivals. Otherwise, after the Talk, we will meet you right outside the double doors where we´ll gather to walk towards Pza de los Delfines and Joaquín Costa for a drink.
Please register with the foundation´s website (click on the venue´s name above) and fill out the fields with asterisks (there is one at the very end). Registered participants gain entrance first for the best seats (second row and beyond).
And check this group´s wall regularly for other free science-related interesting activities in Madrid. Members are also welcome to post similar announcements.
