2 hours from Guayaquil, there is a small village called Ancon. Historically: the place where Ecuador's first oil well is located. Environmentally: a beach with all sorts of waste, mainly from fishing villages nearby.
Join us for a weekend of history, a pretty isolated beach that children and pets can enjoy, and garbage pick-up for the soul!
Accomodation: Ancon is NOT a touristic destination, we will be staying at a family home. There is ONE restaurant option I think everyone will like and a couple other basic options.
Transportation: We will carpool, so if you have a car and can offer somebody a ride, please let me know.
Activity: we will join people who were born/live in Ancon for the beach clean-up, take a walk or bike ride in the town and try to work up a campfire!
Sorry, but you are not allowed to join this Activity Group!
We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Group Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group.
If you would like to explore other InterNations Activities in your Local Community, please have a look at this overview page.
