"Roda de Choro"
Joining for a delightful evening!
In Brazil Choro is very popular and is played mainly in bars in a circle ( Roda).
Who ever wants to play with the musicians is welcome but you can just join to have a drink and listening to this beautiful music.
Choro is considered „the New Orleans Jazz of Brazil“ and it all started in the early decades of the 20th century in the Cafés of Rio de Janeiro.
One of the greatest "Choro" composers was Pixinguinha, but
later Paulo Moura and his band „Paulo Moura e os Batucas“ contributed to the revival of this genre, which is now as popular as Bossa Nova.
Join me for a lovely evening and nice music among friends.
The event starts at 7 pm but the place is very small so please ensure you will be there at 6.30 PM to get a place to seat.
