Details:

Join us for an evening with MCC. All are welcome! We will be watching a reader's theatre performance of Souls, written by playwright Aksam Alyousef.

This is a free event, and light refreshments will be provided.

About Souls:

Souls tells the fictional story of Hannah, a Canadian lawyer who moves to Israel with her husband and into the home of a displaced Palestinian family. It is a sensitive play exploring the notions of justice, guilt, redemption, and the complex emotions and opinions that swirl around the ongoing conflict in Palestine - Israel. It is inspired by the book, Smuggled Stories from the Holy Land, by Carmen Taha Jarrah

He is a graduate of the Criticism and Drama Literature Program at the Higher Institue of Dramatic Arts in Syria, and worked as a professor teaching theatre in Syria and Qatar from Protected content .
