Winter Solstice Traditions (Online Activity)

Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere. It's celebrated to mark the turning point when the days start to get longer again, and the nights shorter.
Different cultures celebrate it differently. Many are steeped in ancient lore, rituals, and festivities.
At InterNations, we come from all over the world. This event is for everyone to share their winter solstice traditions from their homelands.
We will start with the host sharing the tradition from his ancestral community, and thereafter we will invite participants to share theirs. Let's make this an interactive meetup to share our cultures from around the world! Return to this page on the scheduled day and time and press "join meeting" to take part.
