Basics of Composition Part Two
Do you want to learn how to take better photographs? Then this is the event for you!
Part one took place last January and was well received by those who attended. Part two was planned for May but delayed by the Covid-19 crisis until now.
In the beautiful city of Leiden, we will visit 12 locations, some well-known, some less so where we will explain the basic rules of composition; equally valid for smartphones and state of the art digital cameras (and also painting and drawing). The subjects we will cover include:
• Rule of thirds
• Rule of space
• Leading lines
• Patterns and shapes
• Varying the angle
• Depth of field
The course will take about 3 hours ending at about 17:00. Afterwards we can go for refreshment and discuss what we have learned.
The course is suitable for all abilities from enthusiastic beginners to experienced photographers who would like to be reminded of the basics.
All you need to bring is something that will take photographs, and your enthusiasm! If you missed part one no problem, we will briefly repeat for those interested.
Please only sign up for this if you are certain to attend.
