In honor of International Women’s Day Protected content , Women’s March The Netherlands and Studio K/ bring you International Women’s Day Festival in /K, a day of grassroots inspiration, feminist information, and personal motivation. The program is filled with workshops, discussions, performances, art, speeches, poetry and music. With more details to follow, here’s a taste of what is to come:

22: Protected content Live performances, including the inimitable hiphop, rock and soul infused singer/songwriter Pravini, and Marikit, a remarkable Filipina Hip Hop artist based in Utrecht.
23: Protected content DJ Bo Monde (Sponsored by Club Church). After a day of building feminist skills and getting inspired by the stories by an amazing and varied group of people, what better than to let loose and dance with reigning Miss Gay Holland, DJ Bo Monde. Her top shelf mixing and genre bending eclectic music will have you up and moving!

Scholar and cultural critic Patricia Schor & Neyde Lantyer bring you a very special multimedia experience developed by writers, performers, scholars and artists. An evening of stimulating talk, visual art, dance-performance, and video, focusing on the unsettling bodily experience of womxn of colour in-between spaces of political and affective belonging.
