Please join us to practice hatha yoga in Vondelpark. We will maintain social distance between eachother when practicing! Class will be led with music.
The word yoga means oneness or unity. Yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions. It aims at bringing different bodily functions into a perfect coordination so that they work for the good of the body as a whole.
The word "hatha" is both the umbrella term for all physical practices of yoga and the yoga of opposing energies, ha (sun) and tha (moon). Hatha yoga offers a balanced mind-body practice and draws on the wisdom from yoga asana (physical postures) to cultivate both physical and breath awareness. Hatha yoga sequences temper heat and strength with flexibility and stillness, addressing the body and mind in equal measure.
* Costs – donation-based hatha yoga practice with yoga teacher Mila
* Group size – maximum 6 attendants to maintain social distance
* What to bring? – yoga mat and a small blanket
