Let's cook a dinner with typical dishes from Hamburg
It’s time for comfort food!
Fellow Internations member Ulrike invites us to her lovely home again. She is originally from Hamburg, Germany and she will share with us some of her favourite home-town recipes.
Let’s cook a typical Hamburg Dinner!
Hamburg is a lovely city in northern Germany. It is the 2nd biggest in Germany with one of the worlds largest harbours. The kitchen is often fish/meat and not too light, it had to warm and strengthen as well body as soul.
We’ll have potato soup with shrimps, the main will be "Labskaus" (untranslatable ;-)) and finish with a dessert called “Grosser Hans” which means “ Big George” and is a kind of bread pudding. Delicious!
Let’s get together with a small group to cook, eat and have fun.
PLEASE only sign up, if you really want to attend. I will send you a message then with more details. Please keep an eye on your inbox.
For this activity I work with prepayment. All drinks (regional beers, sodas, coffee, tea, shots) and ingredients are included. After your registration you will receive an email with payment instructions.
NOTE: This will be a Fish/meat dinner. Sorry, vegetarians, the main doesn’t work without meat. Next up will have veggie choices as well.
