Pathé and Vinyl (hopefully)!
This bar is a place out of the ordinary for a Milonga. It is a Historical "Bodegón" (kind of canteen) founded in Protected content , and operates as a restaurant. When you enter you feel transported in time. The audience is very varied but you rarely see tourists there, it is a true "barrio" milonga. On top you will enjoy a live music show ("a la gorra", they pass the hat around). And they use pathé and vinyl discs from their own private collection for the milonga so you can listen to Gardel they way Gardel was truly listened to! (But I have just been told by someone who went that it is not for sure that they will play those discs on Saturday, in spite of the information on their facebook page...so we will see!) You are also welcome to bring your own discs to be played there too if you have them! We can also eat there (the food is supposed to be good and unexpensive!) You are only required to drink or eat anything for a minimum cost of 150$. And plus the show that is "a la gorra" (whatever you can pay and/or consider that the show was worth)
