George Brassens songs by Brasserie Croque-Note (FRENCH)
Every year the group Brasserie Croque-Note presents their new selection of George Brassens songs program in the Rataplan, a lovely tradition.
This year the spot is on Brassens’ “thoughts about men and the world”. And he has quite something to tell … often witty , hardly ever flattering, sometimes brutal, then full of compassion and ironie. Brassens was and remains a soft anarchist. And one who can swear and curse heartily. So this is going to be an instructive evening pour tous les imbéciles heureux.
This season the group celebrates its 10th birthday. Merçi Rataplan, merçi Georges - merçi à tous et à toutes, nom de dieu. Et bienvenus !
Jo Vermeulen (song and guitar), Veerle Verhulst (violin), Kris Van Daele (contrabass), Jan Moonen (guitar), Tom Meeuws (percussions)
