Guided visit to the Museum of Applied Folk Art
I invite you to discover a less known museum of the Budapest cultural scene. The Protected content hosts temporary exhibitions of artisan masters working at the various fields of folk art. This time we will see two exhibitions. One presents the exquisite works of the winners of the national embroidery competition, while the other introduces the revival of the folk heritage of the Barkó, a Hungarian ethnic group living in North Hungary. Réka Farkas, who is working at the museum, will assist us in English to have a better understanding of the exhibition material.
