Blurred Lines: Home, Travel and Work (in Spanish)
You’re on a spaceship called “Your Home”, with a rest area, work area and (hopefully soon!) an area for socializing. Now return to planet Earth – this isn’t science fiction, this is contemporary life!
Technology, pandemics, changes in family formation are pushing us towards a new reality, where the dictatorship of place is dying – it is increasingly possible and required to work from anywhere on the planet. The new reality demands that we mix physical and mental spaces between professional and leisure activities. This is turn questions and reinforces the role of travelling, commuting, be it for work or play, as a regrettable circumstance, or a luxury.
We’ll get together in front of our screens and with coffee or other beverage in hand talk to other human beings that are as passionate as ourselves about finding answers.
Some subjects we’ll touch on:
•Home as a multifunctional living area
•Spatial, temporal, and mental boundaries in our lives
•Time and other resources in the new reality
•Family, socializing, and pets
•Mental and physical health in blurry times
•The function of geographical location
•Travelling, commuting, relocating – things of the past?
•The death of distance – just for the chosen few?
