Drugs possess in our contemporary society a long list of adjectives and individual and social perceptions, almost always being characterized as divisive: hobby or medicine, escapism or relief, crime or business, personal choice or addiction.
We will try to address these topics and others, and try to get to know the relationship of each person with drugs.
We’ll get together in front of our screens and with coffee or other beverage in hand talk to other human beings that are as passionate as ourselves about finding answers.
Some subjects we’ll touch on:
•Recreational use: where does individual freedom stop?
•Drug trafficking: how to overcome it?
•New studies in therapeutical use
•Use, abuse, and addiction: criminalization vs. public health
•The taboo of rational use in illegal drugs
•Are some legal drugs more harmful than their illegal counterparts?
•And so much more!
Upon finishing the get-together, we will have shared personal experiences and proposed solutions for the challenges and opportunities presented by drugs at the macro level.
