National Gallery in Prague - 223nd anniversary - Veletržní palác
The National Gallery in Prague celebrates its 223nd anniversary with free entry to the permanent exhibitions and to its accompanying programs!
As part of an yearly tradition all the buildings that belongs to the national Gallery will be with free entrance from 2 to 3rd of February Protected content . Since we cannot see all the buildings at the same day the schedule is to visit to main one: Veletržní palác and ŠTERNBERSKÝ PALÁC. A little bit more of the two venues that we intend to visit...
- The Veletržní palác (or The Trade Fair Palace) is packed with modern and contemporary art - including the newly opened exhibition Protected content First Republic | Picasso, Gauguin, van Gogh, Miró, Toyen, Capek !
- ŠTERNBERSKÝ PALÁC - This palace contains pieces of art from Rembrandt, El Greco and Rubens |Important observation this palace will be close from 28/ Protected content to revitalization, so this is one of the last opportunities to visit it for free before the revitalization.

The actual schedule is to meet at Protected content
. We will wait 15 min for anyone that is delayed. IF you are not going to make and want to meet us at another time please contact us by the events wall or by Rene's phone.
We intend to stay from 13 to 15:15 h at Veletržní palác and go to ŠTERNBERSKÝ PALÁC from 15:15 to 15:45 h by public transportation.
The plan continues with the visit to ŠTERNBERSKÝ PALÁC from 16 h to its closure.
