We would like to thank this Theater which, choosing to remain closed until September, has chosen to be close to the spectators by publishing some shows.
This is the second of a series of shows by this theater, of which I will publish the link. For attendees the link is written above.
"Don Giovanni" is a French play, a comedy in five acts, written by Molière, and based on the legend of Don Juan.
Set in Sicily over 2 days.
Published in Protected content , work of Moliere served as an example and warning to every transgressor of human morality and divine law. It should also be noted that Don Giovanni of Molière is in prose, unlike the Spanish and Italian Don Giovanni, who are in verse.
Subsequently, the notoriety of Don Giovanni's character grew, which was taken up by various European companies, such as the Italian one, and the French one of Molière. The legendary character of Don Giovanni was then taken up again throughout the seventeenth century and in the following centuries.
The story of this play follows the last two days in the life of a young courtier, Dom Juan Tenorio, a libertine, a seducer of women and an atheist. He is accompanied throughout the play by his valet, Sganarelle, a truculent, superstitious, cowardly, greedy fellow who engages with his master in intellectual debates. Dom Juan is presented as a character with many different facets to his personality that are exposed in the five acts of the play.
