Documentary "Viaggio nella grande Bellezza: Roma" (Cesare Bocci)
"JOURNEY INTO GREAT BEAUTY: ROME"
Protagonist of this documentary, Rome, capital of Italy.
Bocci in this performance, tells Rome the capital with its treasures, the most beautiful and rich in history: from the "Campidoglio" to the Forums, from Ponte Sant’Angelo to Palazzo Colonna.
Filmed in the period of the first lockdown, the episode shows places such as Piazza di Spagna or Piazza Navona from an unusual perspective, in the silence of the night and without the crowds of tourists.
The visual experience built with the latest generation drones and shooting techniques, offers unique and privileged observation points and reveals glimpses of amazing beauty.
There will be testimonies, fictional passages and reconstructions, in which the conductor meets the protagonists of the art and history of the Eternal City: Michelangelo, Raphael, Bernini, Borromini, Donna Olimpia, the Emperor Titus.
I, who live in Rome, have been fascinated by this documentary and by how C. Bocci explains art.
We meet on zoom to see it together. I am happy to see it with you.
do not miss. I wait for you.
The film will be in Italian language without subtitles
