Triathlon Series - Part One - Swim
For triathlon practice series, we are going to swim this time. Plan is to swim a few laps and go over techniques. We will meet:
Limiting this event to 10 people, as they have a few open lanes @ rec center. If you cant make it, PLZ cancel your attendance so someone else can take your spot.
Will have a quick chat for 5 mins at entrance, then Swim.
1. One thing that was overwhelm the first time @ triathlon was the splashing and rough waters (even in a pool). This was primarily due to having 2 way traffic in most laps during the sprint triathlon
2. Every time you swim, it is important to stretch before and after the workout. This one is easy to forget esp on a busy day.
3. You can certainly push yourself, but I feel a good average swim pace for me is the key to success. In other words, do the tri at your pace. Start out slow and elevate the pace if your body is giving you the green light.
