*Spontaneous* Hike in the Taunus... (Sunday!)
Excuse the "Spontaneous" short notice... but it will be a beautiful sunny morning tomorrow! We've planned a hike of about 15 km up to the Feldberg and back down for an Event planned for Thursday morning (Gründonnerstag), and we're trying it out tomorrow, as we need to check the timing for each leg of the hike before posting it. If some of you would like to join us, it will be all the better! Otherwise keep an eye out for our posting for the Thursday morning event.
The U3 U-Bahn rolls in from Frankfurt just before Protected content terminates here at Hohemark, if you're coming that way. There's also a bus 50 and 57 coming in from Bad Homburg and from Konigstein, arriving at Hohemark at about the same time.
It will be chilly as we climb approx Protected content to the summit, so wear good footwear or comfy trainers and warm clothes, and bring some water and some snacks to nibble on. Likelihood of Rain is down to 10% for later in the day. There's the restaurant in the forest at Fuchstanz where we'll make a stop on the way.
So if you'd like some early Summer air on a sunny morning, and a well-earned hot beverage, then come and join us!
