Let´s visit one of the first Museums of Mexico City.
It was a convent in the mid-seventeenth century, then a school of first letters and a prison; but, in Protected content became one of the first museums in Mexico.
It houses a collection of religious art made up of works by great New Spain painters such as Cristóbal de Villalpando, Miguel Cabrera and Juan Correa; as well as valuable anonymous artists.
The museum also has 12 mummies from the 19th century and the 50 miniature wax human figures by the plastic artist Carmen Antúnez.
The visit will take an hour and a half, but after that we are going to have a walk to know one of the most beatiful neiborghood in the city: San Angel, and have lunch, drinks & fun!
