Based on the famous book by Leo Tolstoy. The choreographer by Boris Eifamn, pushes aside all secondary stories from Leo Tolstoy's novel and focuses entirely on the love triangle Anna - Karenin - Vronsky.

Using the dance language, Boris Eifman manages to portray the drama of a woman's rebirth in his ballet production. According to the choreographer, it is love passion, the “primordial instinct,” that leads the heroine to violate the then prevailing norms of social morality, to kill motherly love in Anna Karenina, and to destroy her inner world. Entirely digested and crushed by passion, a woman is prepared for any sacrifice.
The brilliant technical mastery of the ballet dancers and the amazing choreography of Boris Eifman show us in a strikingly impressive way all aspects of and decisive turns from Tolstoy's novel.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes including a break.
