What Can Poetry Teach Us About Writing?
Not everyone reads poetry, but those who do might want to lift the curtain behind the magic and try to decipher it. Can we learn from poetry even if we're not writing it? Does its rhythm, pace and a choice of words have a valuable takeaway for other types of writing?
These are some of the questions we'll be asking during the session. You're invited to bring a favourite poem to share with the rest, especially if it taught you something about writing.
