Carrying on with the idea of picking up a country every month and selecting a Noble Prize winner in Literature from this country, we selected Germany for October with, whom else, Thomas Mann!
He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in Protected content for his great novel, Buddenbrooks, which has won steadily increased recognition as one of the classic works of contemporary literature."
As this is a voluminous book (my edition is c. Protected content long), we thought it is important to get a head start, almost 3 months ahead!
This event is rescheduled from May. It has been on hold due to the coronavirus crisis.
Please sit in a way to maintain social distancing. Pay for your own drinks.
Should unfortunate developments prevent us from meeting in person on that day, then we will hold this event online via Zoom.
Agnes and Vas.
