Carlos Casas introduces the sounds and the music that has influenced his work Sanctuary.
Also back this year is the appointment at sunset that celebrates the alliance between the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome and Short Theater, which has allowed over the years to support and take care of the presence of Spanish companies scheduled at the festival.
For the Short Theater preview - provoking reality, which from 6 to 15 September will once again animate the spaces of Pelanda, Teatro Argentina and Teatro India, the Spanish Academy in Rome will present an exclusive audio session mixed live by the Spanish artist Carlos Casas. From the sunset until midnight the artist will present the sonorous and musical research he has developed for his project Sanctuary, which will be presented Protected content
which returns the recorded and collected sounds all over the world, from Sri Lanka to India, from Atacama desert to the forests of Nepal, thus introducing also the music and sound of the films that have influenced the project.
The listening session promises to be an engaging experience and an eclectic sound journey to the guts of the project: expect to hear the sounds of elephants and strange radio frequencies collected on the field that will transform the Spanish Academy's terrace into a cinema without screen.Protected content
