How dark were the early 'Dark Ages' in Europe? No need to bring along a flash-light; just grab your Museumkaart & come along!
We'll find out which clichés are true, or not, while visiting an exhibition in one of the lesser-known Amsterdam museums.
This activity will especially appeal to people interested in history & archeology. However, there's plenty 'bling-bling' on show as well; like items from the Dorestad and other hoards.
As usual: this activity is for Internations members only. Please note that if less than 3 remain on the guest list, this activity will be cancelled.
Taking photos is prohibited & large bags need to be left in lockers, so make sure you've got a one Euro-coin with you.
After visiting the exhibition, you may like to explore the rest of the museum, or join me for a coffee or tea at the museum's café. Or you may opt to visit a few A'dam shops before they close.
Want to come prepared? Try find & read a copy of Michael Wood's "In search of the Dark Ages" before you go.
