In her exhibition, "Portraits of Feelings", Maria Obraztsova wants to convey the feelings of humans in different conditions of life. Feelings like love, sadness, and hope can influence our lives and the paths we choose in search of happiness.
Maria was born in Narva, Estonia. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ivangorod, a Russian city bordering Estonia, before moving to Spain, where she developed her technique at the Art Atelier «Acuarela» in the village of Boadilla del Monte, Madrid.
By chance or by fate she has travelled all around Europe, from Estonia to Russia, then to Spain and some years later to Belgium. Most recently she has come to The Netherlands: one homeland and five adopted countries. Through her travels, Maria has observed and immersed herself in a variety of cultures, landscapes, cities and people. A diversity which she strongly values and defends in her paintings.
After the opening, the exhibition will remain until Wednesday, October 10th. The entrance is free.
