Tina Turner the Musical

From the Broadway in Detroit website:
This musical reveals a comeback story like no other, of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of racism, sexism and ageism to become the global Queen of Rock n’ Roll. TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL is a celebration of resilience and an inspiration of triumph over adversity.
One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Tina Turner has won 12 Grammy Awards and her live shows have been seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.
Featuring her much loved songs, TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.
The show has one intermission.
The least expensive tickets in the last row in the balcony are $35 at the box office. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster with a service charge. I checked with the theater and there are many seats available in the last row. Parking is not included. The Opera House has it's own garage and there is a lot across the street.
If you want to meet before, I posted a separate dinner event in Detroit Foodies at nearby Protected content otherwise we can meet outside the theater at 745PM before the show starts.
Hope to see you there. Ben
