MOVIE: Call Me by Your Name
This romantic drama, based on a Protected content of the same name, was filmed just an year ago. The director describes "Call Me by Your Name" as a family-oriented film for the purpose of "transmission of knowledge and hope that people of different generations come to see the film together". He never saw it as a "gay" movie but rather calls it a film about the "beauty of the newborn idea of desire, unbiased and uncynical".
The movie was greeted by long-standing ovations on its first screenings and was warmly received by viewers and re-viewers (critics!!) alike. It won the Oscar for "Best Adapted Screenplay", while nominated in three additional categories. The screenplay also received various other prestigious prizes (e.g. "Critics' Choice Award" or "Writers Guild of America Award").
Protected content shows the movie, garnished with the usual comfort and classy atmosphere. A sip of advice: if you know you're coming to watch it, get a ticket quickly. Seats at Protected content tend to run out with astonishing speed. At present (the time of issue of this IN event), the projection is more than half-booked already.
See you at the movie!
