Short Story Writing - Part 4
We have a saying in Poland "w marcu jak w garncu", which means "in March it's like in a pot" - weather-like. So one can experience ice, snow, sunshine, rain, wind etc. - all mixed up. And indeed February is acting like March, don't you think? I'd say summer's coming a month earlier.
But to the point: last time we met in the wonderful Bridge Hotel for the third time: Protected content . This time it'll be our 4th try to write a short story. And to be honest, the stories individually were small, but together they grew to something quite large. Probably Richard would not agree though, he would say they are one chapter, or an intro ;) PS We miss you Richard!
So this time, like any other, we have a challenge to connect to previous stories (3 already), and similar rules. We will:
1) choose subject in a semi-random way (different method than previous times - host facilitates)
2) write a short story that's connected with previously written ones, if possible (timed - host facilitates)
3) read stories out loud
We will of course appreciate the works with kind word or, if someone wishes, with constructive critique.
Remember to take your previous stories with you, so you can connect them with your new story - if you like. If not, let's write sth new!
And guys, this is almost the last session - we have only 1 more coming.
If you did not attend previous parts don't worry: come and simply start writing with us.
