Leiden Rembrandt Days
We meet at 12pm at Protected content and walk together to the Pieterswijk district where the 17th century festival will take place.
The Leiden Rembrandt Days is an annual event, celebrating the life and work of the renowned painter Rembrandt van Rijn, who was born in the city.
During this event, the seventeenth century is brought to life with street theater and historical scenes. The historic Pieterswijk district is transformed to reflect 17th-century Leiden. The event features actors in period attire, historical artifacts, and music from that era, offering us an immersive experience of the time when Rembrandt lived and worked in Leiden.
The exact program for Protected content not yet been published. More detailed information will follow closer to time
