Last time, the kids got familiar with the basic fold to make the square for basic shape origami paper. They got struggle for tearing the paper with the perfect line. This time, thanks to Ms. Điệp, one of our wonderful members, she suggested that we could use ruler to help them to tear the paper.
This time, with the ruler, we will continue to make the perfect square shape and start learn how to make the cootie catcher, and the boat from the rectangle paper.
10. Protected content
- music and performance and game. Will be organized by a group of my young friends who can lead the game, play and sing the music with kids. You are free to join.
- preparing for lunch:
I plan to organize a contribution for lunch for kids here. Anyone who could cook, or bring any food to share would be appreciated. Please inbox me to register and dicuss about more details.
The ideal plan is: the Blind Children Home kitchen will cook the steamed rice, for this is the main thing for every Vietnamese meal. We could bring savoury dishes to go well with rice. And deserts are always welcomed by those kids. They have a big kitchen to facilitate us to cook. But it would be more convenient for us to prepare it at home and just need to be warmed up at this kitchen.
We have 22 kids and 8 staff for that Sunday.
The list of registered dishes so far:
1. Singaporean curry
11.00: lunch time.
Welcome all to this event. I hope you could share your time and your care to those kids. I ensure with you that you would have an enjoyable and meaningful time with those adorable kids at this well-organized home.
