Margate to Ramsgate Coastal Walk (14.8km)

As Saturday’s weather is predicted to be sunny & warm (16c & 15 hours of sunshine!) let’s do the Margate to Ramsgate coastal walk.
It’s mainly flat and we can go at a leisurely pace, starting at Margate train station we walk around the coastal path, having lunch & perhaps a paddle in the sea at Broadstairs, before finishing with a drink at the Royal Victoria Pavilion pub overlooking Ramsgate beach, then getting the train back to London from Ramsgate station.
Walk description.
The coastal walk from Margate to Ramsgate is a popular 9.2-mile (14.8 km) hike that takes approximately 3 hours and 48 minutes to complete. It follows the Viking Coastal Trail and offers stunning views of the Kent coastline, including secluded bays, wide sandy beaches, and the vibrant Royal Harbour and marina of Ramsgate
We meet & start at Protected content at 11am. You can either take the 9:20am from St. Pancras or other trains from Cannon St or Victoria.
