Sip Free Champagne at the Sport of Kings' First Polo Final!
Please read from beginning to end
It’s time for the first final match of the season, the Joe Barry Cup! Two teams of four players will battle each other to win this famous tournament of the world’s oldest organized sport, dating back to the Persians over 2,300 years ago. The magnificent International Polo Club Palm Beach, one of the finest venues on the planet, is located in Wellington, one hour to an hour of fifteen minutes from Miami.
Between the 3rd and the 4th chukkers, we'll celebrate the traditional Stumping of the Divots, where fans go into the field to the replace the mounds of grass dislodged by the horses hooves during play. Fine Veuve Clicquot champagne is served in the middle of the field. As soon as the 3rd chukker is over, we’ll go in and remain close for memorable group pictures.
Ladies, please bring extra pair of flat shoes to be able to walk on the field. Fancy hats and outfits are allowed. So are jeans and casual wear!
After the end of the game, there’s an after party on the opposite side of the field with great music and dancing. All are encouraged to stay for the fun!
There's no attendee limit, but once I give instructions for buying the tickets, the first 24 to notify me they bought them, will sit in our 24 assigned seats. The rest will sit nearby. One of the three winners of the free raffle held in August is invited to come. The others will do so in following matches.
