Let's eat like a king - baroque flavors in the 21st century!
Have you ever wondered what King John III Sobieski was eating? What flavors & dishes were served in Willanów Palace & on the tables in Poland during his reign in the Baroque era?
Now we have the unique opportunity to find out how it was thanks to
Royal Wilanowski Palace's master chef Maciej Nowicki and well-known Warsaw restaurateur Alexander Baron, chef of the "Solec 44".
On the basis of historical sources they have been able to recreate the old flavors and traditions that they would like to present to you during shows combining historical tales with tasting of traditional Old Polish dishes. For the preparation they will use carefully selected, sometimes already commonly forgotten ingredients, so that you will get closer to the forgotten flavors, customs and traditions of the 17th-18th centuries.
Let us sit together at the Royal Wilanow table and discover the noble flavors of the culinary baroque where the traditions of the West are spiced with the distinct flavors of the East!
