A Bicycle Excursion to Historic Seligenstadt!

Get ready to roll!

Join us for a leisurely bicycle ride to the charming and historically rich town of Seligenstadt on May 24th.

We'll embark from Höchst and enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful Hessian countryside, culminating in a visit to the captivating Seligenstadt.

But Seligenstadt is more than just a pretty town! It boasts a history stretching back to Roman times! Evidence of a Roman settlement has been found within its borders.

Our Plan:

9:30 : Start from Höchst Bahnhof. The route is of a variable length, from Protected content and is generally mostly flat, with some gentle inclines. We have many train stations on our route. Some might join us later to shorten the ride to Seligenstadt, or finish earlier after Seligenstadt. Or you can use both options.

13:00: Arrive in Seligenstadt + lunch ( Protected content )

15:30 : Begin our return journey to Siedlingen / Höchst.

18:30: Expected arrival back in Siedlingen / Höchst.

What to Bring:

Technically functional bicycle
Helmet (highly recommended!)
Water bottle
Snacks
Sunscreen and appropriate clothing for the weather
A lock for your bike
Some Euros if you wish to purchase food or drinks

This ride is open to all levels of cyclists who are comfortable with the distance. We'll ride at a comfortable pace and ensure everyone stays together.
