It's a bit quiet on the cultural front at this time of year in Doha and because I enjoyed the night - and I hope the rest of the attendees did - let's do it again.

There's a special menu for the night, with reasonably priced beverages and really quite excellent food.

If you haven't been to the Protected content , it is a lovely art-deco inspired room with fabulous lighting. Even I look passable... It's high end, obviously, but in no way pretentious or unwelcoming.

The musicians are on point and feature quite of few of the standards from the American song book including Gershwin, Porter, Berlin and others.
