There are TWO Blue Nile Restaurants. We are NOT meeting at the one on Richmond Ave.
What is Ethiopian cuisine? A delicious assortment of various lentils; split yellow peas; cabbage with potato, carrot, and seasonings; collard greens; and lamb; steak, or chicken. Some dishes are spicy (Wot dishes). Shared platter is the common way to dine using a bread called Injera to pick up the tasty morsels. Injera is made with a tiny grain of wheat called Teff. Naturally gluten free as well. The teff is fermented a bit and has a nice sourdough taste.
