Chi Baolege Horse-head Fiddle Concert

Morin Khuur(MaTouQin) is a two-stringed string musical instrument with a trapezoidal body and a carved hilt in the shape of a horse's head. It is a favorite musical instrument of the Mongolian people. On Dec. 17th we have the privilege to hear the Chi Baolege Wild Horse Horse-head Fiddle Band, the world’s first horse-head fiddle band that was born in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.
Chi Baolege is a modern master of horse-head fiddle art, an inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage, and also a virtuoso, composer, philosopher and educator.
