Bruckner 3rd Symphony

Bruckner's Symphony No. 3 is often referred to as the "Wagner" symphony, and the earliest version ( Protected content ) contained numerous references to Wagner's music, some of which remain today on the score published in Protected content . Two unique musical ideas appear in the work. The first is the slow dance theme of the adagio, which Bruckner wrote specifically as a lament for his mother. Two themes relate to Bruckner's view of the opposing elements of life.
Let's experience this symphony in the new year of Protected content , and happy new year!
