The Feroci Philharmonic Winds founded in Protected content Damrih Banawitayakit, Dean of the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University is one of the great wind orchestras in Thailand. The band was named after the great Italian artist Maestro Corrado Feroci, the father of Thai modern art and the founder of Silpakorn University. The Feroci Philharmonic Winds gave its inaugural concert in Thailand under the baton of Johan De Meij performing his world popular “Extreme Beethoven”. The ensemble is acknowledged as the Thai’s foremost musical pioneer of Thai contemporary music initiation by combining western and traditional Thai music instruments. The Feroci Philharmonic leads the field for its quality of performing and for its innovative approach to fusion traditional Thai and western musical art interpretation.

The event is organized by the Embassy of Italy in the framework of the Italian Festival in Thailand Protected content .
