Egypt, from Aswan to Alexandria
On Protected content study trip to Egypt "Temples and Tombs: The Glories of Ancient Egypt" during late February to early March, the speaker went with great expectation of what he would see but came back even more impressed. Along the way he recorded his experiences in photographs, 3D panorama pictures and videos, sound clips and written notes. The intention was to gather as much material for his archaeology news radio program for the blind, but the result proved more versatile. In this presentation the speaker will show the trip using all of these materials, as well as readings from Percy Shelley's Ozymandias by Eileen Deeley, who, on this trip, recited this very poem for all of us at the Ramesseum in Luxor.
