Khao San Road Reopening Street Event
After going dark during the pandemic, former backpacker destination Khaosan Road is spring back to life with light installations, music, tours, food, art workshops and more.
Running from Friday 6th through Nov. 15, Khao San Hide and Seek highlights include colorful displays and light installations at eight spots along its main road and alleys. Nearly 20 bands from Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Music will perform live while daytime and nighttime walking tours are offered on select dates. On the weekends, art studios will lead workshops from embroidering khon costumes and carving banana stalks to making khaotom nam woon sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves.
