Cycling: Bride's Pool Road (halfway) & Plover Cove Reservoir Dam
Cycling is latest hip thing to do! Everything from your fitness and mental wellbeing, to your bank balance and the environment stand to gain from this. So embrace your pedal power, and join me for a ride on the wild side!
Lung Mei Tsuen (Tai Mei Tuk) -> Bride's Pool Road roundabout -> Plover Cove Reservoir Dam -> Starting point. See link:
This ride should take maximum one and a half hours. It is a relatively easy ride, (see photo) with low gradient slopes up and down, with lots of shades during the first half of the ride (Bride's Pool Rd), and then it's smooth and breezy for the second half (reservoir dam).
Bike rental, food and drinks, public toilets available. We will need both sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring ID for bike rental. Bring clothes to change into if needed. Most importantly: water, water, water!
Afterwards, we can have a drink and may be dinner at the beautifully decorated Italian restaurant, Cafe de Country Art.
This serves as part of the training for the Tri Dash race in November. Check out the event here:
