Historical Water Trail. Hike in Pontón de La Oliva.
This track has loads of heritage (cultural, geological and biological).
We will deep into the history of the water supplier of Madrid, Canal de Isabel II. The start point is the Presa of Pontón was the first dam built-in Protected content . We will head along river Lozoya to find some old dam and water trail constructions. Then we will ascend (4 km ascent) to Poblado del Atazar to see the spectacular dam of Atazar and way back to Pontón.
