Evening Hike Along the Siete Picos
Let’s finish the weekend (and August) with an evening hike along the Siete Picos. This rather short (9 km) trail begins and ends at el Puerto de Navacerrada and involves about Protected content ascent/descent. After traversing six of the seven peaks (all above Protected content and stopping to refuel, we will return after sunset along the equally famous Camino Schmid(t):
As usual, remember to bring plenty of water and some food to share with the guide, and to wear/bring suitable clothing, including boots, waterproofs and something warm for later. As we will be returning after nightfall, it is important to bring a headlamp (frontal) or good torch.
